Avid editing systems and Final Cut Pro systems are the most widely used non-linear video editing systems in the film, television and commercial
editing market. Up until recently, Avid was the professional platform of choice, but due to economic reasons Final Cut Pro is now being seen as much, or more than the Avid system. Both systems allow compatibility with visual effects software that provide editors endless possibilities
in the world of film and video post-production.
My editing experience includes documentary style projects, episodic television series and feature
film productions. I have experience editing on Final Cut Pro and all styles of Avid Systems including; Avid Symphony,
Media Composer, and Avid X-press. Currently, I use Adobe After Effects to create motion graphics.
I also use Abode Photoshop to touch-up and manipulate still images as needed. |
